A fully immersive 3D web experience built around the Bialetti × Dolce & Gabbana Blu Mediterraneo Moka Express — where two icons of Italian craftsmanship meet in a single object.
The Moka Express was modeled and textured in Blender, capturing the signature D&G ceramic print — deep cobalt blues and stark white inspired by the coastlines of southern Italy. The model was exported and rendered in the browser via Three.js, with GSAP driving a scroll-choreographed lighting reveal: as the user scrolls, directional lights shift to expose the hand-painted motifs and the sculptural aluminium body. The camera follows a path that mirrors the product's own story — from darkness into Mediterranean light. Built on Next.js for performance and deployed as a standalone experience at bialetti.julimaldonado.com.
